“Watch your thoughts, they become words.
Watch your words, they become actions.
Watch your actions, they become habits.
Watch your habits, they become character.
Watch your character, it becomes your destiny.”
Keeping these words in mind, we at Agarwal Vidyalaya focus on the overall development of the child to reach great heights in education and in life. I commence my message with the words of Martin Luther King. “The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and critically. Intelligence plus character – that is the goal of true education.” To realize this goal of true education we have to follow certain proven techniques.“Knowing yourself is the beginning of wisdom” – Aristotle.
One needs to start with taking a good look at oneself, analysing one’s traits, strengths and weaknesses and everything that needs to be worked upon. Bring positivity in your outlook. Situations and circumstances in life can always be full of highs and lows. You need to find the brighter side of the things and focus on the good parts. Having an opinion and being able to confidently put it forward makes you look more influential and well informed. Meeting new and different kinds of people is a healthy step towards expanding your horizons and exposing yourself to a large number of things. Read more often and develop new interests. If you are well informed about things and cultivate a number of interests, more people tend to like you. When you meet new people you can share your knowledge. Be a good listener. When somebody talks to you, listen with interest and give them all the attention and importance.
Be humble and greet everyone with a smile. Body language is as important as your verbal communication skills. Work on being the best version of yourself and remain your unique self.Be confident. Challenges are what makes life interesting and overcoming them is what makes life meaningful. Gaining education enhances an individual to live a respectful life in the society. This is because education offers a setting in which culture and values of a society are developed. We are Agarwal Vidyalaya are working together to ensure that our students receive a holistic education based exclusively on quality and high standards.
