English lab creates an easy atmosphere Language lab plays a Pivotal role in learning spoken English. The basic proficiency of spoken English is imparted to students through the Language Lab. As it is a technological aid for learning, it has a number of advanced facilities (computer with headphones) that can help a student to learn a language with proficiency to communicate. The language laboratory has an audio visual installation used as an aid in modern language teaching. The software is used as a teaching aid by providing application of information, communication technology in English language to cater to the students needs.
We have a renovated, spacious, brightly lit computer lab with 48 systems. It has updated versions of computers and internet facility. It also has a projector for teaching.
The bio lab is equipped with many compound and dissection microscopes. It has bottled specimens, stuffed birds, charts, human skeleton, molluscs and echinoderms shells.
The Physics lab is spacious and can accommodate 35 students at a time. It has a supporting generator with power backup with 3 phase connection. Equipments are of advanced version.
A well-equipped lab which can accommodate 40 students at a time. Individual apparatus is given to each and every student. A distilled water plant has been installed. Gas connection is provided with 25 burners. There is a safety valve in each table.
Library is a store house of knowledge. Keeping this in mind we have a well-lit, airy room which can accommodate 50 students at a time. It houses 5020 books belonging to different sections such as Literature, Mathematics, Economics, Tamil, Commerce, Religion, Social and Reference. Each department also has a mini library. English, Tamil and Hindi dailies and magazines are available in the library.
Each child from standard IV to VIII is provided with a science kit. This is to enable the child to develop a liking towards the subject. The experiments are done in the class by the child which make a difference in his learning.
The Maths Lab which is well equipped, can accommodate 45 students at a time. A Variety of modern and colourful apparatus and smart board helps in making teaching and learning of the subject interactive and fun filled.
Learning of Mathematical concepts through concrete material, hands on experiences and real life situations helps to enhance analytical and critical thinking of the learners. The Maths department provides time and resource to improvise student’s math skill through math lab.
